Inside Disney Destiny: Stunning New Ship Experiences

There’s a new ship on the horizon—and it’s bringing both heroes and villains to the high seas. Launching this November, Disney Cruise Line’s newest addition, the Disney Destiny, is packed with immersive design, fresh dining experiences, and reimagined entertainment, all anchored around a brand-new theme: the dynamic clash between good and evil.

At first glance, Destiny may appear to follow in the footsteps of her Wish-class sisters, Disney Wish and Disney Treasure. But step inside, and it’s clear—this ship has a personality all its own.

A Grand Hall Fit for Wakanda

You’ll feel the energy shift the moment you board. The Destiny’s Grand Hall is inspired by Marvel’s Black Panther, filled with sleek metalwork and Wakandan motifs. A glowing Vibranium-inspired chandelier and a striking statue of King T’Challa set the tone for what’s ahead. The space transforms with lighting effects to reflect the presence of heroes—or villains—during interactive shows featuring characters like Loki and Dr. Facilier

New Dining With a Story

At sea, dining is more than a meal—it’s a show. On Destiny, the musical dining experience has been reimagined as Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King. Guests journey through the savanna while live performers blend music, storytelling, and a family-forward narrative. It’s bold, colorful, and heartfelt—everything you’d expect from Disney and more.

Lounge Like a Villain

Adults looking to unwind will find a few new favorite spots. De Vil’s is a stylish, Hollywood Regency-inspired piano lounge channeling Cruella’s flair for the dramatic. And in true pirate fashion, Cask and Cannon—a new pub inspired by Pirates of the Caribbean—offers exclusive brews and aged rum straight from the barrel.

If you’re more into the mystical, The Sanctum draws inspiration from Doctor Strange’s New York sanctum, complete with suspended spell books and arcane cocktail magic.

Broadway at Sea: Hercules Debuts

A brand-new stage production exclusive to Disney Destiny brings Hercules to life with high-tech effects, massive puppetry, and show-stopping choreography. The production blends classic songs with a never-before-seen ballad called “Shooting Star,” offering a fresh take on a beloved Disney legend.

Notably, Hercules’ battle with the Hydra uses puppetry tech never before seen on land or sea — raising the bar for Disney Cruise Line’s theater experiences.

AquaMouse Gets Villainous

A new AquaMouse adventure joins the fun with “Sing a Silly Song,” where Mickey and Minnie escort guests up Villain Mountain. Along the way, they’re met by Disney’s most infamous villains — Scar, Chernabog, Queen of Hearts — until a silly tune turns fear into laughter. Expect plenty of twists, turns, and splashy surprises.A Suite That’s Stark Approved
The new Destiny Tower Suite pulls from the Marvel universe in a big way. With armor-like design elements and two-story views overlooking the deck, it’s a luxurious escape worthy of Tony Stark himself. Guests staying here enjoy a private sundeck, dedicated concierge service, and exclusive Avengers-themed amenities.

From immersive lounges to showstopping entertainment, Disney Destiny blends imagination and storytelling in every corner. Whether you’re cruising for the thrills, the cuisine, or just a new way to experience Disney magic, this ship is shaping up to be a dream voyage for adventurers of all kinds.
